A graduate in Communication from the University of Buenos Aires and with a Master's degree in Global Media from Goldsmiths College (University of London), MatÃas Zibell has worked for the BBC in London since April 2000 and has been a war correspondent in Iraq, a correspondent in the Middle East, a special envoy to the earthquake in Haiti and a contributor from Ecuador, a country where he also served as a university lecturer in Journalism. He is currently a Senior Producer at BBC Mundo, and this year, 2024, will mark three decades since he started working in a news office for the first time.
