Enrica Pérez is a filmmaker with an MFA in Film from Columbia University in New York, where she lived and worked from 2003 to 2009. In 2009 she returned to Peru and founded Sexto Sentido Producciones, a film company with which she made, produced and distributed her first feature film, Climas (Peru-Colombia), which had its premiere in 2014, receiving excellent reviews from the public and the international press. She is currently developing her second feature film, Sobre el acantilado (Peru-Mexico), which will be filmed in 2025. In parallel, she works as an educator, giving courses on direction and scriptwriting at two of the most prestigious universities in Peru, and has been a mentor and advisor for several scriptwriting workshops organized by the Ministry of Culture.
