Investigative journalist. In 2024, he won the National Journalism Award in the Written Reporting category. He was a finalist for the same award in 2004 and 2022. In 2008, together with journalist Mabel Rehnfeldt of the Paraguayan newspaper ABC Color, he won first place in the Latin American Award for Investigative Journalism, organized by the Press and Society Institute (IPYS) and Transparency International for Latin America and the Caribbean (TILAC). He was a fellow of the García Márquez Foundation. His reports on drug trafficking, politics and corruption have appeared in the newspapers Correo, Correo Semanal magazine, Caretas magazine as well as on Hildebrandt en Sus Trece, where he currently works as a reporter.
