The Financial Times' East and Central Africa bureau chief, based in Nairobi. He was previously the Brazil correspondent and, before moving to São Paulo, the Andes and Caribbean correspondent based in Bogotá.
He has also worked as a markets and emerging markets reporter in the newspaper's New York bureau. A native of Buenos Aires, he graduated from the universities of Oxford and Columbia.
