Teacher and researcher at the Autonomous University of Queretaro and a member of the Literary Theory Alternatives academic association at the same university. She has a doctorate in Literature from King's College in London with a thesis on poetics, the construction of space and elements of visuality in the fiction of Carmen Martín Gaite. She has dedicated her research to the study of literature in relation to other arts, such as painting and film, and the urban representation of space in film and literary texts. She has lectured at various institutions both in Mexico and abroad.
