Doctor in Humanistic Studies from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and a specialist in Community Development from the Autonomous University of Queretaro. She also has a diploma in Post-colonial Feminist Theologies of Latin America and the Caribbean from the Universidad Iberoamericana. She is part of the National Network of Researchers of Mexico, level 1, and is a lecturer at the School of Humanities and Education, where she coordinates academic projects for the South Central Region. Her research considers post-structuralist, post-colonial, feminist and ecofeminist theoretical perspectives to analyse socio-environmental problems and contemporary social movements. She is interested in the study of intersubjective communication mediated by technology and the construction of resistance and collective memories through digital data.
