Graduate in History with a Master’s in Historical Studies from the Autonomous University of Queretaro. Doctorate in History from the Michoacana University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo. He has worked on the history of various social and left-wing movements in Mexico in the 20th and 21st centuries. Author of the books La organización estudiantil en la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (1958-2016). Entre las aulas y la políticas (UAQ, 2017), Querétaro en pie de lucha. Memorias de las izquierdas y las luchas sociales en Querétaro (UAQ, 2019) and Querétaro, historia de lucha. Izquierdas y luchas sociales en Querétaro (UAQ, 2023).
