(Mexico City, 1977) He works in theatre, scriptwriting, teaching, translation and community projects based on artistic expression. He has been involved in more than thirty dramatic works in various cities in Mexico and abroad, contributing as playwright, director and translator with various national and international institutions. He has designed and advised various training programmes throughout the country and has given nearly fifty workshops for professionals and non-professionals in the fields of art, education, human rights and community work. He has received grants and support from the Foundation for Mexican Literature, the FONCA Young Artists and Artistic Residencies Abroad programmes, the Anglo Mexican Foundation and the Royal Court Theatre in London, the Ibero-American Fund for Performing Arts Iberescena, Experimenta Sur Meeting /Goethe-Institut Colombia and the Shanghai Writers' Association. In 2015 he received the Altaír Tejeda de Tamez National Playwriting Award. In 2007 he won the National Theatre Essay Award. Member of the FONCA National Artists’ Network (2018-2020).
