Passionate about fantastic stories, puppets and life, he completed his main studies at the Autonomous University of Queretaro and at the Casa del Teatro. Currently, he is the Artistic Director of La Gaviota Teatro, where he writes plays for children of all ages, makes puppets, acts and directs performances aimed mainly at children. His works have been presented in various parts of the country, such as the Art and Identity Festival of Orizaba, Veracruz; the Los Pinos Cultural Complex; the Hellenic Cultural Centre; the Queretaro Experimental Festival; and at the Bosque Cultural Centre, as part of INBAL's theatre programme for children. In addition, he has participated in international festivals, winning in the United States the Artists that Challenge and Push Boundaries Between Arts Forms award with his work Urikubu, and the best puppet show at the International Children's and Youth Theatre Festival in the Dominican Republic with his work Colibrí. In 2019, his first book, Las Cosas de Volar, was published by the Fondo Editorial de Querétaro and his second book, Mundos fantásticos, a dramatic trilogy for children, will be published soon in the Mascarones series of the Municipality of Queretaro Press. Apart from his passion for theatre, he loves his cats and his dog, Raskolnikov.
