Ekaterina Álvarez is a publisher. She makes books. She is Mexican and was born in Moscow, and maybe that is why she has an allergy to the cold. Before becoming a mother she lived in the city of Prague where, from another perspective, she rediscovered illustrated books. She likes to imagine them and think about them with other people, especially if they are her friends. Among the dozens of books she has published, this is her very first adventure as a children's author. She describes her job as fun and challenging, and where she inhabits a space dedicated to art, the UNAM University Museum of Contemporary Art, where for ten years she worked on publications and more recently on museum communication.
