Keyes Christopher "KC" Hardin is co-founder of Conservatorio, a certified B Corporation that applies its unique approach to sustainably revitalizing historic urban cores in Central America. Conservatorio’s real estate business model has been the subject of case studies by the Center for Real Estate at MIT and Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, and was winner of Travel & Leisure Magazine's 2011 Global Vision Award for its holistic approach to revitalization of Panama City’s district, where the company is based. KC started his career in 1998 as a corporate lawyer in New York and Tokyo with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison where he focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions and private equity before moving to Panama in 2003. He holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a B.S. in Communications from the University of Miami. He is Fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Central America Leadership Initiative and a Research Affiliate of the Center for Real Estate at MIT. KC founded Esperanza San Felipe, an innovative program in Panama that was recognized as a McNulty Prize finalist for its success demobilizing street gangs. He has published in Stanford Social Innovation Review and spoken about urban revitalization and social entrepreneurship at Aspen Ideas Fest and MIT World Real Estate Forum, among others.
