Dany Alejandro HOYOS

Dany Alejandro Hoyos Sucerquia, born in Medellin in 1982, is a prominent comedian, entrepreneur and screenwriter. A graduate in Social Communication and Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Antioquia, he has received multiple accolades throughout his career, including awards such as Outstanding Young Entrepreneur of Antioquia in 2010 and Outstanding Entrepreneur of Colombia in 2019. He created and plays the character Suso el Paspi and hosts the successful programme The Suso's Show. In addition, he has directed television programmes and has been a presenter on Caracol Televisión. He is the founder of the cultural company Te Creo, which offers artistic training and cultural entertainment. In 2021, he fulfilled his dream of opening the Te Creo bookshop in Medellin, where he promotes reading and a passion for books. Dany is passionate about football, salsa, literature and comedy, and recently did a TED talk entitled El Arma es la Sonrisa.
