Víctor Vich has a doctorate in Latin American literature from Georgetown University, USA. He is the author of several books on poetry, art and cultural policies. He has been a visiting lecturer at various universities in the US such as Harvard University, the University of California at Berkeley and University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was a member of the Lugar de la memoria curatorial team and founded the Master's degree in Cultural Studies. In 2009, he was awarded a Guggenheim fellowship and, in 2014, a Tinker fellowship. He is currently a senior lecturer at the Pontificia Universidad Católica.
