Oksana ZABUZHKO

(b.1960) author of over twenty books (poetry, fiction, non-fiction), and internationally known with her novels Field Work in Ukrainian Sex (1996) and The Museum of Abandoned Secrets (2010). Her books have been translated into twenty four languages, and won her many national and international awards (Angelus Central European Literary Prize, Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine, the French National Orderof the Legion of Honor et al.). Her recent work, The LongestJourney (2022), a book-long essay on the historical background ofthe current Russo-Ukrainian war, won in Ukraine The Book of theYear, and has been translated into ten languages.
