Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú with a Law degree, on August 16, 1982 and incorporated into the Bar Association of Lima on September 20, 1982.
She founded the Sasieta Abogados & Consultores firm in 1985. She is the head of the Caravanas Legales initiative in Lima, providing the population with access to free legal consultations with professionals in agreement with the Ministry of Justice. Deputy Mayor of the District of San Bartolo representing Acción Popular, for the period 2003 - 2006. Congresswoman of the Republic 2006 - 2011, Secretary of the Budget and General Account Commission of the Republic, Vice-president of the Justice and Human Rights Commission, Vice-president of the Review Commission of the Code for Children and Adolescents, President of the Tourism and Foreign Trade Commission, President of the Board of Peruvian Parliamentary Women.
Awarded by the Comptroller General of the Republic with the Gran Auditor grade for her efforts in defending the work of the Comptroller's Office and for promoting legislative projects and initiatives in favour of the fight against corruption.
