Writer, political analyst and cultural promoter. He studied Law at the Autonomous University of Queretaro and Modern Literature at the Universidad Iberoamericana. He has published several books of essay and novels: Tributos y admiraciones (Calygrama, 2014), Ejercicios frente a la hoja en blanco (UAQ, 2015), Bajo los almendros. Estampas de amor y muerte (Siglo XXI, 2017); El viaje, o los caprichos de la memoria (Amazon 2019), Las notas prohibidas de Tito Livio (Amazon 2019), Accesos clandestinos (Inteliprix 2020), La renuncia interminable (Inteliprix 2020) and Las pasiones de Zulema published in 2022. He founded the independent weekly Nuevo Milenio. He has been founding Director of the University Extension of the Autonomous University of Queretaro, as well as Secretary of Culture and Coordinator of Advisors of the Government of Queretaro. From 2009 to 2015 he was Technical Secretary of the Editorial Board of the Executive Branch of Queretaro, where he ran a wide-ranging publishing project that included the work of Queretaro writers and artists, as well as a record of local traditions, history, and culture. He has promoted the creation of numerous cultural spaces and is currently working on various fiction texts for upcoming publication.
