Tania TAGLE

Tania Tagle (1986) is a mother, essayist, editor and cultural manager. She currently directs the programme for the promotion of reading and the formation of film audiences at Fundación Casa Wabi. She has been awarded the Fundación para las Letras Mexicanas grant for essays in 2013 and the Jóvenes Creadores grant from the Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes in 2017 and 2019. Her essays have been published in magazines such as Gatopardo, Este País, Letras Libres, Revista de la Universidad, etc. She has participated in several collective books with short stories and essays, for example: Sólo cuento published by UNAM in 2017 and El silencio de los cuerpos, Ediciones B, 2018. Germinal (Lumen, 2023) is her first book of essays.
