Verónica MURGUÍA
Verónica Murguía is a writer, translator and literature teacher. She was born in Mexico City in 1960 and studied History at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM. Her first novel,
Auliya
, published in 1990, has been translated into German, Portuguese and Russian, and her book of short stories
El ángel de Nicolás
has an Italian version. With the novel
Loba
, she won the Gran Angular prize in Spain in 2013. Her most recent novel,
El cuarto jinete
, was published in 2021. She has also written a dozen books for children and young adults.
