PhD in Literary Theory at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Literary Studies, Faculty of Philology), he graduated in Philosophy at the University of los Andes (with a thesis on Greek authors) and in Literature at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (with a thesis laureate on the Cuban poet José Lezama Lima). He is a full-time professor in the Department of Spanish at the University of the North, where he works as a researcher on marginal writings and teaches courses on cultural theory and great masterpieces of Western culture. In 2012 he wrote his first book: Mamarracho de meditaciones imposibles, a project he developed in the city of Tel Aviv with a group of Latin American artists. On his return to Colombia that same year, he participated in the founding of the Taller Ciudad de Nubes with the aim of promoting independent art. In early 2015, the publishing house Domingo Atrasado published his second book of poems: Lluvia de astronautas and, in 2017, the Editorial de la Universidad del Norte published his third book of poems, 28 poemas minimalistas.
