Nohora Alejandra QUIGUANTAR
Nohora Alejandra Quiguantar is a young indigenous woman from the Pastos community in Colombia. She has a degree in Biology and is a co-leader of UN Women's Feminist Action Coalition for Climate Justice. Founder of the organization Tejiendo Pensamiento (Indigenous Women for Climate), her mission is to rescue ancestral knowledge and intergenerational equity to build resilient communities, empowering girls and their allies to access the resources, networks and platforms they need to advance their activism, amplifying their voices at all levels. She has also been recognized nationally as inspiring young people to be the change by the Mi Sangre Foundation
