Gabriel Mesa, a doctor from CES in Medellín, is a pathologist from Boston University with an executive MBA from UCLA. He is a visual artist and writer. He was manager of EPS SURA for 15 years until 2021, when he decided to change course and reinvent himself through health technology, education, art and entrepreneurship. He currently directs the Area of Care Sciences and Life at EAFIT University, with the creation of the new degree in Medicine. He is also an entrepreneur and founding partner of Artificial Intelligence companies with mental health, nutrition and physical activity.
