Rosana Arizmendi holds a doctorate in Ecology, and a Master’s degree in Marine Sciences and is undergraduate in environmental sciences. She was a researcher at the Institute of Marine Sciences and at the University of Barcelona, and co-coordinated the area of Environmental Culture at EAFIT University, where she has been a lecturer in Sustainable Development and Ecology since 2015. She was responsible for Comfama’s School of Nature, where she also headed the area of tertiary education. Arizmendi has also coordinated the international conservation and climate change projects. She is an opinion columnist and her areas of interest include human-nature relations, education and gender equality.
