María Adelaida LÓPEZ

She is a visual artist and an early childhood educator. She has been working in early childhood education for 20 years, and she is passionate about the culture of childhood, art, and pedagogy as instruments for children´s development and social and cultural means of progress. From 2008 to 2016 she served as aeioTU Pedagogical Director, where she led the creation of the aeioTU Educational Experience inspired by the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia and was nominated for the WISE award. She has been the Executive Director of aeioTU since 2017, ensuring educational quality, developing innovations, and leading the implementation of strategies for scale, sustainability, and social impact. In 2022, she was awarded the Lego Prize.
