Alex VON TUNZLEMAN

Alex von Tunzelmann is a historian and screenwriter. She is the author of three books on 20th century history including the international bestseller Indian Summer: The Secret History of the End of an Empire. Her feature film debut, Churchill (2017), starred Brian Cox and Miranda Richardson. She has also written episodes of Medici (Netflix), starring Richard Madden and Dustin Hoffman. Her latest book, Fallen Idols: Twelve Statues That Made History, was shortlisted for the Wolfson History Prize 2022.
