Fabiola VERGARA

Fabiola Vergara Rodríguez is a Librarian from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, with a specialization in Information Sciences and a Master's degree in Administration. She received a scholarship from the Erasmus Mundus Action Programme for a professional stay in the Doctorate in Knowledge Society Training at the University of Salamanca, Spain. She created the library of the Organismo de Evaluación y Fiscalización Ambiental (OEFA) and has been head of school, university and public libraries. She has more than 15 years of experience in libraries and documentation centers in public and private institutions. During the years 2020 and 2021, she has held the position of director of Access and Promotion of Information at the National Library of Peru (BNP). She is currently Institutional Head of the National Library of Peru.
