Claudia NÚÑEZ

Feminist researcher and writer from Cusco. She studied at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the San Antonio Abad University of Cusco, concluding her studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, where she also completed a Master's degree in History. She has participated in multiple national and international research spaces on gender issues, and has individually and collectively published texts on women's participation in different historical moments. Her first individual book, La Mariscala, presents a transgressive view where tapadas, chicheras, nuns and transvestites occupy the pages of the story that narrates the life of Peru's first female president.
