Criseida RUIZ AGUILAR

ruiz-aguilar-criseida Dr. Ruiz, a full-time professor at the Escuela Nacional de Estudios Superiores Unidad Juriquilla, has more than eight years of experience in the research line of ceramic biomaterials with applications in trabecular and cortical bone regeneration, in addition to her acquired knowledge working in the area of nanomaterials, innovating in self-assembled honeycomb structures and multilayer films with applications in electronics. She has taught 41 curricular courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in different institutions, and is also part of the National System of Researchers (Level 1). Dr. Ruiz has several peer-reviewed international publications, as well as two patents and a book. Currently, she is the president of the Queretaro Nodo that belongs to the Network of Biomaterials and Organ and Tissue Engineering but she is also a guiding person for the orientation against gender violence in the UNAM where she is responsible for the Internal Commission for Gender Equality at ENES Juriquilla (CInIG-ENESJ). Finally, she is an accredited tutor for the Master's programme at the Institute of Neurobiology and the Postgraduate Programme in Biological Sciences at UNAM.
