Concert pianist. He currently performs on the most important national and international stages, combining this with his work -since 2011- as a piano teacher at the Lausanne Conservatory in Switzerland and his vocation as a philanthropist, through the Crescendo con la Música Foundation, which has helped more than 2,000 children in Mexico, Switzerland and Kenya. He was born in Durango, Mexico, and began playing the piano at the age of 15 with private lessons; four years later he was accepted at the Lausanne Conservatory in Switzerland where he obtained a Master's Degree in Music Teaching and a Master's Degree in Concert Performance with honours and an award for the year’s best examination performance. He has studied with renowned teachers such as Menahem Pressler, Pascal Deroyon, Paul Badura-Skoda, Valentin Gheorghiu, Anne Queffélec and Philippe Cassard. He has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center (NY), the Bunkamura Theatre (Tokyo), Festival Hall (Osaka), the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Mexico City), and at the BFM in Geneva, Switzerland. He has received the Gabrielle Agostini Award, won the Kiefer Hablitzel Wettbewerb Competition, and has been awarded the Margerite Meister Prize. He serves as Cultural Ambassador for Rolex Mexico.
