Laura SANDOVAL BORRAS

Laura Sandoval (Barcelona, 1979) is a Humanities and Literary Theory graduate. Her passion for books came to her in her teenage years, when a fantastic (and wise) teacher told her about La Celestina by Fernando de Rojas. Since then, she has been a keen reader, a happy bookseller for many years and, since 2013, editor with the Asturian publishing company Hoja de Lata, together with Daniel Álvarez. Hoja de Lata is an independent publisher that aims to publish quality fiction and essays and that aspires —just like its logo, a small tin robot— to build a catalogue in the style of the endearing toys of yesteryear: resistant, beautiful, timeless and unhurried.
