sierra-yuriria Journalist. Presenter of the evening broadcast of Imagen Noticias on Imagen Television, Mexico’s national channel 3. For radio, she hosts Ya Cierra on Imagen 90.5. She writes Nudo Gordiano, an editorial column for Excelsior newspaper. She is a contributor to Puntos de Quiebre, the annual supplement co-published with The New York Times. She has worked at Televisa, Proyecto 40 and Cadenatres. Forbes Mexico has named her as one of the 10 journalists with the most influence on social media. Throughout her career, she has interviewed outstanding figures from national and international public life. From presidents of Mexico, such as Carlos Salinas de Gortari, Vicente Fox, Felipe Calderón and Enrique Peña Nieto, and practically all of their respective cabinets, to personalities from the worlds of culture and academia, such as Arturo Pérez Reverte, Gilles Lipovetsky, the Nobel Prize laureate Joseph Stiglitz, Almudena Grandes, Emmanuel Carrére and many others. From the sphere of the arts she has held acclaimed conversations with Oscar winners such as Oliver Stone, Alfonso Cuarón, Guillermo del Toro, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Steven Spielberg and Quentin Tarantino. In March 2015, she received a National Journalism Award, granted by the Journalists Club of Mexico.
