Bibiana Candia (Corunna, Spain) is a writer and journalist. She has published the poetry books La rueda del hamster and Las trapecistas no tenemos novio, the book of short stories El pie de Kafka and, in fiction, Fe de erratas. She contributes regularly to the magazines Jot Down and Letras Libres. Her first novel, Azucre, published by Pepitas de Calabaza, was chosen as one of the best debuts of 2021 by the El Cultural literary supplement and it also won an award at the 35th Chambery First Novel Festival, in the Spanish-language category.
