Juan Tallón (Ourense, 1975) has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Santiago and practices journalism for outlets such as El Periódico, El País, Jot Down and Cadena Ser. He is the author of several books in the Galician language, and in Spanish he has published non-fiction works such as Libros peligrosos and Mientras haya bares, as well as the novels El váter de Onetti, Fin de poema, Salvaje oeste and Rewind. His latest book, Obra maestra, halfway between non-fiction and fictionalized history, deals with the disappearance of a 38-ton sculpture by Richard Serra owned by the Reina Sofía Museum, which serves as the background for a cliché-free view of the world of contemporary art, as well as artistic creation and the role of large public museums.
