Cayetana ÁLVAREZ DE TOLEDO

Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo (Madrid, 1974) holds a PhD in History from the University of Oxford. She has been a columnist for the newspaper El Mundo and is the founder of the Libres e Iguales movement, in defence of constitutional values. For a year she was parliamentary spokesperson for the Popular Party and she still holds a seat for the Barcelona constituency. She is the author of the book Políticamente indeseable (Ediciones B, 2021), a mixture of a narrative of her political disappointments, an essay with her views regarding threats to democracy, and family memoire.
