Miriam Moreno Sánchez, also known as Mina Morsán, is a Psychology graduate from ITESO, specialising in social psychology. She has participated in research related to public transportation and socio-urban dynamics in the context of the sex trade in central Guadalajara, as well as in projects to reduce inequality in neighbourhoods with high rates of violence and marginalization. She is part of the Siempre Unidas civil association, through which she provides psychosocial support to women victims of violence in Quintana Roo. She has recently conducted research on the abandonment of social housing in Tijuana, Ciudad Juárez and Matamoros in northern Mexico. Through the Coral Hero project she promotes community management of coastal ecosystems with cooperatives in the Mexican Caribbean, where she also collaborates as a CONANP volunteer in projects for the conservation, restoration and monitoring of the Mesoamerican reef.
