Created in June 2013, Solovino emerged as a project to get people dancing, spreading the musical heritage of Mexico, Latin America and the Mandingo region of Africa. Focussing on rescuing the musical folklore of these regions through the creation of new audiences, Solovino's music is characterized by the fusion of sounds of traditional instruments and rhythms such as cumbia, salsa, reggae, funk and Afrobeat. with atmospheric elements, synthesizers, guitars and wind instruments. Over the last few years, the results of this process of musical experimentation have been presented at the most important festivals in El Bajío, such as: Pulso GNP, Festival Errante and Tecatebajio and at different cultural and entertainment venues in different states of the Mexican Republic. They have shared the stage and line-up with bands such as Café Tacvba, Devendra Banhart, Warpaint, Bomba Estéreo, Auténticos Decadentes, Los Amigos Invisibles, Todos tus Muertos, Dread Mar I, Molotov, La Maldita Vecindad, Kinky, El Gran Silencio, La Lupita, La Gusana Ciega, Hello Seahorse, Sotomayor, The Guadaloops, The Wookies, Mon Laferte, Los Aguas Aguas, Agrupación Cariño, Sonido San Francisco and others.
