José Manuel Velasco (Mexico City, 1986) is a writer, editor and actor. He currently divides his time between audio-visual projects, teaching and cultural management. He has also worked as a cultural journalist with Chilango and La Ciudad de Frente, has published the book ¿Por qué poemas? and has worked on the anthologies Ayotzinapa. La travesía de las tortugas and Nuevas instrucciones para vivir en México, published by Gris Tormenta. Velasco is the guest editor of the anthology Viajes al mundo del silencio, for which he selected authors who, like him, are travellers on the path of bodily, intellectual and spiritual introspection.
