Born in Queretaro in 1978, she has lived in Tampico, Tamaulipas, since 1996. Poet. A Philosophy graduate, she is now the Director of the Tampico Historical Archive. She has given the literary workshop, The Writing Trade and participated in the First and Second Northern Mexican Young Writers’ Encounters (2005-2006) and at the 2006 Tamaulipas Letras del Mundo International Literature Festival. She has contributed to the magazines Blanco Móvil, Saloma letras entre ríos, Shearsman (translated by Toshiya Kamei) and Tierra Adentro. 2004 Carmen Alardín Literature Prize. Clemente López Trujillo National Poetry Prize, as part of the 2004-2005 Yucatan Literature Biennial. 2005 Tijuana National Poetry Prize. FONCA fellow, on the 2006-2007 Young Artists programme. Her work appears in the anthology Tsunami (Sexto Piso, 2018).
