A certified librarian with a degree in Romance Philology and a doctorate in Information and Documentation from the University of Barcelona. He lectures at the Faculty of Information and Audiovisual Media. He is also the Head of the Library School and coordinates that faculty’s post-graduate course in Readership Prescription. He has managed libraries in Barcelona, Lisbon, Paris, Brussels and New York, and taught at the Universidade Nova in Lisbon. This publisher and literary translator has also contributed to cultural programmes on the radio. His doctoral thesis: La edición española en el exilio de México: 1936 a 1956. Inventario y propuestas de significado, won the Special Prize for Doctorates.
