Liliana Arias is a writer, poet and social activist. She was born in Bogota and since she was a child she has loved books and poetry. Her sensitivity led her to tackle artistic and social issues at an early age. This revealed her great gift for reaching out and helping the people around her. As a social activist, she has worked with foundations and United Nations organizations, which has allowed her to support communities, tell stories and implement initiatives for women through humanitarian, social and creative projects in Colombia and Latin America. As a writer, she has turned her talent to creating, positive, sensitive, poetic texts that touch the hearts of children of all ages. In 2014, she published her first book, Comienzos y Finales, with the Argentine publishing house Urano in which she talks about managing grief. In 2019 she published La vuelta al mundo en cuatro animales with Planeta. In 2019 she started the 9 Muses project, with the intention of combining two healing forces that have come together in her life: creativity and writing. She is keen to continue working on projects that inspire and enhance the talents that we all carry within us.
