Patrick Radden Keefe is a staff writer with The New Yorker and author of two non-fiction books: Chatter (2006) and The Snakehead (2009). He has published articles in The New York Times Magazine, Slate and The New York Review of Books. In 2014 he won the National Magazine Award, in the Non-fiction category, for his article “A Loaded Gun” and was shortlisted for the Reporting category of the same prize in 2015 and 2016. He currently has a Guggenheim Scholarship and another from the New America Foundation.
