Sara Jaramillo Klinkert (Medellin, 1979) is a social communicator and journalist from the UPB (Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana) and has worked at a number of the most important Colombian media organizations. She completed the Master’s degree in Fiction at the School of Writing in Madrid, where she was awarded a scholarship for academic performance. In 2020, Lumen published her autobiographical novel Cómo maté a mi padre, which had an extraordinary critical reception, is being translated into French and was shortlisted for the Colombian National Novel Prize. In 2021 she published Donde cantan las ballenas. She currently lives in Medellin, runs a spice shop and is writing her third novel.
