Julio César ZAVALA VEGA

Bookseller, publisher, writer, bonsaist and cultural promotor. General Manager of the Escena Libre bookshop. He studied Philosophy at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and now, as a cultural manager, specializes in promoting reading. He writes for local and international media, contributing to the cultural sections of La República, Revista Altazor, El Buen Salvaje and El Hablador (Peru); Suplementos de Libros (Mexico); Revista Trama & Texturas (Spain); and Revista El cuervo (Puerto Rico). His work is included in 201, the Altazor publishing house’s anthology of microstories (2013), an international anthology that includes 99 writers from Peru, Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and other countries.
