Camila SOSA VILLADA

sosa-villada-camila Camila Sosa Villada was born in 1982 in La Falda (Cordoba, Argentina). She studied Social Communication for four years and Theatre for another four at the Cordoba National University. In 2009 she starred in her first show, Carnes tolendas, retrato escénico de un travesti. In 2011 she played the character Ale in the film Mía. In 2012 she acted in the mini-series La viuda de Rafael. In 2014 she starred in Jean Cocteau’s El bello indiferente; in 2015, Despierta, corazón dormido/Frida; in 2016, Putx madre; and in 2017 El cabaret de la Difunta Correa and the mini-series La chica que limpia. She is also the author of the poetry book La novia de Sandro (2015), an autobiographical essay entitled El viaje inútil (2018) and Las malas (2020). She has worked as a prostitute, maid and street vendor. Sometimes she sings in bars.
