Manager of the Carlos Fuentes Bookshop at the University of Guadalajara. She has been in publishing for over 20 years and during this time she has been with the Guadalajara International Book Fair as Exhibitions and Professionals Manager. Her work has contributed to the growth of the fair, and she has been behind the revitalization and consolidation of professional training programmes for the industry. In 2015 she founded Base Tres, a company dedicated to the development of publishing, and which has been involved in various projects such as the creation of UNAM’s International University Book Fair (the FILUNI), the management and expansion of the Panama International Book Fair’s business centre, advising foreign publishers on doing business in Latin America, and the creation of various publications, growth programmes and the consolidation of the University of Guadalajara’s university press, as well as acting as Secretary of EULAC.
