Archaeologist, Master and Doctor from the National School of Anthropology and History. Among her specialist subjects are the protection of archaeological heritage, the study of the societies that developed during the Classical and Late Classical periods in El Bajío, and popular science. She has presented various papers and conferences both in Mexico and abroad. She has published four scientific books and various scientific and popular articles. She has been a tenured lecturer at the INAH Querétaro Centre since 2005. She is currently the head of two projects and co-leader of two others.
