Llenyddiaeth Cymru - Literature Wales

Llenyddiaeth Cymru yw’r Cwmni Cenedlaethol sy’n datblygu ac yn hyrwyddo llenyddiaeth yng Nghymru. Mae’n credu fod llenyddiaeth yn perthyn i bawb ac ar gael ym mhobman.

Mae Llenyddiaeth Cymru yn gyfrifol am arwain y sector ac mae’n cydweithio â sefydliadau ac unigolion sy’n cyfrannu at hyrwyddo, creu a mwynhau llenyddiaeth yng Nghymru.

Mae prosiectau a gweithgareddau niferus Llenyddiaeth Cymru yn cynnwys Llyfr y Flwyddyn Cymru, Bardd Cenedlaethol Cymru, Bardd Plant Cymru ac Awdur Ieuenctid Cymru, gweithgareddau Twristiaeth Llenyddol, cynllun nawdd Awduron ar Daith, cyrsiau ysgrifennu yn Nhŷ Newydd, a Sgwadiau Sgwennu’r Ifainc. Mae gweithwyr maes yn gweithio’n benodol i ddatblygu gweithgareddau llenyddiaeth yng nghymoedd de Cymru ac yng ngogledd Cymru.

Literature Wales is the national company for the development and promotion of literature in Wales. It believes that literature belongs to everybody and can be found everywhere.

Literature Wales is responsible for leading the sector and actively collaborates with organisations and individuals who contribute to the promotion, creation and enjoyment of literature in Wales.

The company’s various projects and activities includes Wales Book of the Year, National Poet of Wales, Bardd Plant Cymru and Young People’s Laureate Wales, Literary Tourism activities, Writers on Tour funding scheme, creative writing courses at Tŷ Newydd, and Young People’s Writing Squads. Fieldworkers work specifically to develop literature activity in the south Wales Valleys and in north Wales.

The services offered by Literature Wales for writers include mentoring, writers’ bursaries, and information and advice.
