David Vann is a brilliant North American novelist who received the Medicis award for the best foreign novel in 2010 for Sukkvan Island, set in a remote island in Alaska in which a father and a son fight for survival. His latest work, Caribou Island, has just been published in Spanish. In his novels Vann immerses the reader in a suffocating atmosphere, explores human relationships and questions the myth of the American dream. He will talk with Mónica Carmona, publisher of Mondadori.
