The work of classicist, writer, and professor Irene Vallejo is a tribute to books, reading, and the mystery of words that capture and convey the sensations, emotions, feelings, and thoughts of people and cultures.
Irene Vallejo will meet with around 500 students from Arequipa to connect with them and talk about the magic of books and reading, thus bringing her ethics and poetics closer to the upcoming generations—those who will shape the region's future in a few years. She will be joined by librarian Fredy Tito and philosopher Nelson Vallejo-Gómez.
