En la montaña is a book about the encounter between the journalist and documentary-maker Diego Enrique Osorno (Mexico) and the Zapatista movement, which is 30 years old this year. This text, which is a mixture of reporting and personal reflection, begins in 2021 with the invitation sent to him by the Zapatista National Liberation Army to join the crew of the ship La montaña, in which a Zapatista delegation was to cross the Atlantic Ocean, beginning a journey of visits to Zapatista communities around the world over the course of many months.
