Two outstanding Peruvian fiction writers will talk about their latest novels, which deal with the private and complex matter of the family. Katya Adaui, the author of three books of short stories, presents her second novel, Quiénes somos ahora, a work that revisits an episode from the family past that has left wounds that have yet to heal. Enrique Planas, recognized as “one of the 25 best kept secrets of Latin American literature” by the Guadalajara Book Fair, presents his sixth novel, Chicas Bond. This novel, set in Japan, tells the story of a father and son who meet by coincidence at a cinema after both have come to see James Bond films. When the father suffers a medical emergency, the son becomes involved in a series of unexpected adventures around the south of Japan. In conversation with the journalist Clara Elvira Ospina.
